Bob Fritz has guided the growth of performance nutrition for over two decades. He pioneered the original commercial creatine. Other firsts include branched-chain amino acids, glycocyamine, L-Norvaline and phosphatidylserine. Bob also helped launch such branded products as Amino 1000™, Carboplex™, Cytomax™, Muscle Milk™ and Fast Twitch™. He patented home Nitrogen balance test kits, and began the first mail-in saliva hormone assays. Bob’s natural pet care company, Animal Naturals, offers premier foods for dogs, horses and cats. His most recent human project is Power Jerky; 100% natural beef or chicken fortified with power milk proteins.
John Ivy, Ph.D. is the Chairman of Kinesiology and Health Education at the University of Texas-Austin. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland and did a post-doctoral fellowship at Washington University. He is a Fellow of ACSM and on the Advisory Board of the International Society of Sports Nutrition. Dr. Ivy is considered to be one of world’s leading experts on carbohydrate and fat metabolism. He is the co-author of the book “Nutrient Timing.”
