Giselle Haftel received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. She is completing her Master’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition at Florida International University. Giselle is the Branch Manager for the Florida division of Wellness Concepts, a New York-based company that provides interactive, culinary-based nutrition education and personal counseling programs to corporations. Wellness Concepts has several offices throughout the country, which allows them to provide services nationwide. Giselle was a competitive gymnast for 13 years; she is highly involved in sports nutrition and is an active member of the ISSN, for which she has been a lecturer on various occasions. In regards to sports nutrition, Giselle is particularly interested in working with children and adolescents. In addition, she is extremely interested in preventative health care, nutrigenomics, and antioxidant use.
