    Yarixa Ferrao, NASM-CPT with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Yari’s introduction into the world of training and fitness occurred when she competed in a South Florida figure competition, which inspired her to become a personal trainer. She started teaching in a South Miami Fitness Studio where she experienced working one-on-one as well as teaching boot camp classes. Yari gained notice as the fitness specialist for Univision’s morning news fitness segment, Al Amanecer (“When Awakening”). She went on to a position at the prestigious Sports Club/LA in Miami, and has served as a Performance Coach at IHP in the first-ever “Personal Training Apprentice Hunt” conducted by fitness industry leaders Juan Carlos Santana and Phil Kaplan.
