Mike Ryan has been involved in weight resistance training since he was 12. He has participated in football, ice hockey, lacrosse, baseball, basketball, boxing, surfing, mountain climbing, jui jitzu, cycling, swimming and golf. Mike has devised a number of successful training methods and techniques, and his services as a trainer have been sought by many top athletes as well as top entertainment and business stars.

Shane Hamman began his career as a successful power lifter and went on to cross over to Olympic-style weightlifting. Hamman is now considered the strongest man in the United States. Among his accomplishments are: Olympian, finishing seventh in 2004 and 10th in 2000; 2002 Mermet Cup team member gold medalist; Senior National Championships gold medalist 1997–2001, 2003, 2004; American Open gold medalist 2001, 1998 and 1997.
