As the seasons change, I find I also enjoy a change in my workout plans. And this spring has been no different. Of course, with the change in workouts, I've noticed that my muscles have really been feeling it after following the "triple drop set" principles of my Maximum Growth II Plan. (Ouch! A few days ago, I felt so stiff and sore, I questioned my own sanity at the intensity at which I had hit the weights.) Fortunately, there are foods and supplements that help mitigate the soreness, or at least help you feel better sooner. Marie Spano shares which five foods have been shown to help improve recovery in her Nutrition for Recovery article this issue. Thanks to this information, I'm now walking a bit easier this week.
