Morph Bodybuilding Supplement Clinical Study Presented at 2008 International Society of Sports Nutrition Scientific Conference

Sadly, the majority of sports nutrition supplements never undergo clinical testing of any kind. And only one in a thousand has been shown to be effective in the laboratory as well as the real world. Instead, marketing and safety are based on the research of the individual ingredients, if at all. Combined with theories and hype posted on internet message boards and thus, hopes and dreams more than real science.

The International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN), however, is determined to change this sad state and provide the opportunity for researchers and manufacturers to gather together to study and present the results on supplements. And thus gain greater credibly for supplements and the scientific research behind them.

"We've been strong supporters of supplement science since we launched our first product back in 2002. In fact, that first year, we also had our first study published in a respected, peer-reviewed journal (NUTRITION) on our flagship product, Lean System 7," explains Stephen Adele, CEO of iSatori Technologies. "This is why we're also adamant supporters of the ISSN. And the reason we attend their annual conferences."

"This year, it was especially important for us to be in Las Vegas at the Annual ISSN conference at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa as we had our latest study on our hottest new muscle-builder, Morph, presented," shares Marketing Coordinator Sue Mosebar. "And the results of this study blew away even our highest expectations for Morph."

The study, entitled "Effect of MORPH™ on Exercise-Induced Changes in Lean Mass of the Arms" and presented by Dr. Tim Ziegenfuss, indicated that short-term supplementation with Morph, containing primarily beta-alanine, arginine, creatine malate, and glycerol monostearate, promotes resistance exercise-induced increases in lean mass of the arms without negatively affecting blood pressure. (See the chart below.)

In fact, there was a 1.77 times greater increase in the lean mass of the arms over the corresponding placebo group. And because Morph doesn't contain any type of central nervous system "stimulants," as expected, there were no effects on heart rate or blood pressure for participants who supplemented with Morph.

"Once the research poster on Morph was presented, the interest level was very high, and I handed out a lot of samples as well as copies of the research abstract," adds Brandon Frickey, Marketing Specialist at iSatori. "It's always great to come out and support the scientific community. Not many companies are willing to open themselves up to scientific scrutiny and support their work. But we're proud to support this society and answer the tough scientific questions and share the studies on any of our products."
