More Than a New Year's Resolution
How to Make Fitness a Lifestyle
Hello, Friend,
It's March. A mere three months into the New Year.
If you're like me, you've seen some new faces come and already go in your gym. Some lasted barely a week. Some made it a full month. Even less have made it until now. And a few will make it the full year, becoming regulars.
Every year, I ponderwhy are some people able to make the transition from a New Year's Resolution to a Fitness Lifestyle, while others, don't...
The rewards of this lifestyle are endless: much more than improving how your body looks, you also enjoy greater energy, better health, stronger vitality, and improved movement. Just thinking about it makes me excited to hit the gym at 5:30 tomorrow morning.
So in the last few weeks, I've asked the people around me, "What keeps you coming back into the gym week in and week out? What keeps you following a smart nutrition plan day after day?"
And to be honest, the answers were more varied than I would have thought.
But there is one key that all of the answers held: a purpose. Every single person I asked had a very personal reason for doing what they were doing. They were clear on their reason for living this lifestyle.
And because of that, they were drawn to the gym. Drawn to eating a bit (or a lot) differently than the average American.
Whether you've been living the fitness lifestyle for a year, a decade, a couple of months, or even a couple of days, I'd like to ask you to something very important.
Think about your purpose.
What do you want to accomplish? Why do you want to live this way?
In fact, take it one step further, and write that down. Then, the next time you find yourself strugglingwith your diet, your schedule, or just a day of lowered energy, take a minute and re-read your purpose.
I have a feeling, nine times out of ten, you'll feel recharged and ready to hit it hard. And maybe you'll even notice it's less of a struggle than you had originally thought.
Of course, as always, in this issue of Real Solutions, we also have a few articles that might help you overcome typical challenges.
Perhaps you have a trip coming up, and you'll be away from your gym? Or your schedule will just keep you tied down? That's no excuse to miss a workout! In this issue, we share a fast and furious home or hotel workout to keep you on track.
Maybe you're just ready for a heaping of motivation. Fitness star Jenny Hendershott shares how to find a true source of motivation. (You may be surprised…)
If you're looking for a nice nutritional boost, don't miss this issue's article on the new Liquid Morph+ with 45 grams of anabolic protein. This ultra-convenient protein has a few additional components that are proven to make your workouts even more effective! And it tastes wicked good. (Just ask my wife. She swears I'm going to turn purple I drink so many of these!) But don't take my word for it. Read the article from iSatori's Research Team to discover the science behind this innovative new protein-packed supplement.
That's it for now. But before I go, don't forget: write down your reason for living this lifestyle. And stay on track.
See you in the gym,

Stephen Adele
