I've been at Project Abs for two weeks now after giving it a bit of a "trial run" for starters. I travel a lot, and so it's not always easy to find the right equipment to stay committed to a routine like this, but so far, so good. I'm hitting all my numbers and think I am ready for a small increase in the weights I've been using. I'm 37, married with 3 kids, and really looking forward to showing off a 6-pack depsite passing another birthday. I want my wife to be proud of her husband, and my kids to be proud of their dad, not just from accomplishments at work, but in my personal life as well. I think making a personal committment like this and sticking to it really gives the family a lesson that they will carry for the remainder of their lives.

I actually have the opposite problem of most gym rats, where I have difficulty putting on weight. I'm 6'4" and currently 205lbs, but have longed to be around 220lbs with a 6-pack intact. Unfortunately, every effort to put on weight results in a loss of any evidence of sculpted abs (bloated), and any effort to define the abs brings me down to 195lbs and tired (the skinny "bean-pole" look). I'm hoping the combination of iSatori supplements and proper routine will add the muscle weight and shed the fat that I've been trying so hard to achieve over the last few years.

One problem that I've encountered so far and am looking for advice/suggestion on is I think the MX-LS7 may be upsetting my stomach. While I always take it with food, it doesn't always sit well, and I've definitely experienced some discomfort when taking it along with Morph prior to my morning workouts. Any suggestions or advice?

I completed the trials for the ab challenge.

I took H+Blocker 30min before workout (usually as I left the house) and took XLS7 in the locker room seconds before staring workout of sometimes 20 min into the workout before cardio work. (which is usually HIIT)

another option is to take the XLS7 after the workout for continued fat burning.

always take it with a full glass of water,

I know how difficult it can be to workout when traveling so have a stand by body weight workout, (push ups, one leg squats, Spider pushups, crunches, leg raises, ab wheel etc) that you can do in a hotel room if required. you can use the stairs for HIIT training, (run up stairs, then walk down, or go up two at a time an walk down as normal)
    good luck with the challenge

Good luck with the ab goals.  I'd sure like to see what you are eating.  I'd bet that you have a really high metabolic rate, and that you are not getting enough good nutrients in your system to support the muscle growth.  It's like a 3-legged stool--you need all three to make it work 1) a proper weight-lifting routine 2) enough cardio to keep the fat off, and 3) a proper nutrition plan.  That plan must give you enough protein to support the muscle repair, enough good fat for the same reason, but careful with the carbs--just enough to give you energy and nutrients, but not so much that it will be stored as fat.

So how about journaling your eating for a couple of days--when, what, how much you eat and drink.  Maybe we can spot some ways to tweak it to your advantage.

Maybe you are blogging on bb.com.  I'd be glad to check you out there if that saves you making two entries.  I check there everyday too.  Just tell me your username so I can find you, or you find me.

Hey Jim and others on this board:

It's been awhile since I've been around these woods-- but found your post interesting about MX-LS7.

I was on LS7 for a month and made strides in performance and ripped abs and then just switched to MX-LS7 and just did my first workout after the 3 capsule serving 30 min prior with water... large glass... but experienced noticeable heart rate increase CLEARLY pronounced during treadmill run.

From the post from you and others I am deducing I have options:

    1)  Take MX-LS7 at lower dose than 3 capsules prior to exercise...

    2)  Take MX-LS7 after workout to continue fat burning afterwards and heart rate wont be such an issue.

    3)  Switch back to LS7 as I had no negative side effect.

    4)  Realize maybe supplements that play with my heart rate may need to be rethought.

Anyway, thanks for the post--  Ill check back later to see your progress.

BTW-- I am 42 years old... went from 250lbs of flab to a clear defined six-pack now and defined muscle and my wife doesn't stand around proud of my six-pack, talk about it or even care.  So do it for yourself-- not your wife.

My WIFE DOES HOWEVER, love the man I have become-- positive mindset, new emotional state, more loving father and husband etc... that has resulted-- and is proud of those things...

SO FOR THAT, do it for your wife, your kids, your family, your friends, and everyone around you because in the end you'll realize that your wife was right all along-- the six pack  isnt that important after all... its just a side benefit of the REAL DEAL that you become.  Your whole value mindset will shift and a really good way.

Good luck-- actually luck has nothing to do with it... goals and mindset towards the goal= success...

    Jeff
