Signing Her Way to Success
When Jennifer Joy-Eggley signed and sent in her Success Contract for last year's Best Body contest, she took the first step to a whole new life for herself and her new family.

Many people have a seemingly endless excuse that keeps them from ever truly transforming their bodies: "I'm waiting for the 'right time.'" Of course, something always comes up, and the "right time" slips away... every time. Maybe they start, but finishing, well... that's another story.
Jennifer Joy had faced this roadblock numerous times before. She had even signed up for other contests, such as Body-for-LIFE, but something always came up. It just wasn't the "right time," she would think.
She had kind of a "halfway there" feeling, like she was doing something goodworking out and trying to pay attention to her dietwhich was better than nothing, but she just hadn't quite put all of the pieces together and was trying to find that "missing link" to put it all together.
Then one day, Jennifer received an email which held the rope she needed to climb over this hurdle and never look back. She signed up for a small, little-known transformation contest with an up-and-coming nutritional supplement company called iSatori Technologies. And the first thing she did was sign a contract with herself and fax it in to the company. This Success Contract, as it was called, was exactly what Jennifer Joy needed to overcome this roadblock for good.
Jennifer explains, "I will call myself out and say that I have set goals in the past and have not been very good about following through. I signed up for the Body-for-LIFE contest a number of times but didn't finish. And I know, if I had never faxed in the Success Contract with my set goal, I would have never followed through with it. I would have never finished."
The contest, however, was not Jennifer's only major motivation. She also had only eight weeks to get ready for her wedding, and she wanted to look her absolute best. But she doesn't believe this very real motivation would have been enough to see her to the finish line. "My wedding was a huge incentive for me, but setting my goal and signing that 'written in stone' contract is what kept me going. If I hadn't signed that, I would have just hoped I would have looked better for my wedding," Jennifer shares.
Staying on Track
It wasn't always easy for Jennifer to stay on track, especially at first. She had to overcome two significant hurdles. First, she had to plan for her wedding. And second, she was dealing with her hardest, busiest time at work in getting ready for a national convention. Plus, Jennifer had to travel a lot for work too. "At the time," says Jennifer, "I was just pulling my hair out, but sometimes the busier I am, the better I am. The more I had to think about it and plan for it, I think the more it helped me be that much more diligent about what I could and what I couldn't control."
Jennifer admits that some days she does better than others. She isn't perfect 100% of the time, but then no one is. However, another tool Jennifer uses is positive self-talk. "Just daily talking to myself and asking myself, 'Ultimately, what good is this going to do for me?' when faced with temptation really helps. Thirty seconds of tasting good is not going to make me feel better an hour later when I realize what I've eaten and how that can put me off track for what I'm trying to accomplish," explains Jennifer.
She also notes how important it is to plan each dayeach workout and every single meal. Taking the time to plan, making lunch the night before, and bringing healthy foods with her helps her resist the constant temptation of all the goodies, candies, and food-filled events around her office. "I get a lot of teasing at work, which I take in total fun, for my very large cooler bag, filled with my snacks and my meals for the day," says Jennifer. "But I know if I just eat what I have with me, I'm going to be much better off than trying to eat off of a snack tray or eat the candies and goodies that other people have brought with them."

Taking the same approach when she's traveling for work, Jennifer brings her meals along with her, packing little baggies of oatmeal or bringing protein bars as a last resort, so she has something with her instead of having to eat something in the airport that she knows is not even remotely healthy for her.
Following her own unique hybrid program from Body-for-LIFE, ABSolution, and the Lean System Success Plan, Jennifer found that one of the largest keys for her was eating every two to three hourssix meals a daytruly does work. Though she had tried this approach for a couple of months here or there in years past and even saw some minimal results, she didn't stick with it until she started this contest.
Jennifer also enjoyed some help along the way. She explains, "I talked with Linda at iSatori quite a few times after I signed up for the contest, and she really helped me. I would email a question in (to info@isatoritech.com), and she was great and very responsive. Everyone there genuinely wanted to help me, and that was a great feeling, and that was a huge part of my ability to succeed too."
She also notes the importance of support from loved ones: "I could not have done this without the genuine love and support from my husband Josh. He was my biggest cheerleader!"
Of course, once the results started coming and she started noticing and other people started noticing, that made it so much easier for Jennifer to stay on track!
Setting Her Goals
At 5'9", Jennifer didn't feel like her weight of 155 lbs was too heavythe number on the scale didn't really bother her. Instead, she realized that it was much more important to lose bodyfat and get into a smaller clothing size. She also wanted to feel leaner and more toned.
Jennifer also wanted to focus her efforts on the typical "women's problem areas": the hips, thighs, and butt. Though she knew she couldn't spot reduce, she really wanted to see results in those key areas.
Nothing Feels as Wonderful as Success!
Jennifer accomplished losing the ten pounds of bodyfat and dropped her clothing size by up to four sizesin just eight short weeks. Basically, she went from wearing a size 14 to being able to wear a 10 easily. She also felt much more confident and much more athletic and toned and lean. Plus, she looked fabulous on her wedding day!
Jennifer shares, "I was just amazed at how well the Lean System 7 fat-loss supplement worked. Results didn't come right awayit wasn't that I started taking it and a week later, I noticed a huge difference. But as I continued to take Lean System 7, the results got better and better as the weeks went by. I felt leaner; I felt more toned."
She continues to work hard every day, making even greater progress. However, Jennifer has really noticed a significant difference between when she's supplementing with Lean System 7 and when she decides to take a break from using it. She says, "I realized that the areas I was struggling with most and where I wasn't seeing any results or was even backsliding were the exact areas that Lean System 7 helped me get rid of in the first place: my hips, thighs, and butt. "You know, from the morning through the evening, Lean System 7 gives me the energy I need all day, but it never keeps me awake at night or affects my sleep. I work out every morning and I definitely notice a difference in my workouts between taking it beforehand and not taking it beforehand. I just have so much more energy to push through and make my workouts that much better and more intense. And my workouts set the tone for my whole day. But when I take it, I know I'll have that great workout. It just affects me in such a positive way the entire rest of the day," Jennifer explains.
From Body Changes to Life Changes
Like so many others who have transformed their bodies, Jennifer says it definitely doesn't stop there. "The changes have just made everything in my life better. To put it as simply as I can, when I feel better about myself, it affects everything around me. Stresses of normal life don't bother me like they potentially could because I know I'm taking good care of myself, and everything's going to work out just fine. I just carry that attitude with me when I feel good about myselfI know that I have great family, I have great friends, and I'm taking care of myself, and I feel good about myself, and I know nothing can stop me!"
This explains why Jennifer is so happy to help those around her when they ask. And instead of just handing them a book or providing a program, Jennifer believes that an individual approach works best.
"When friends ask for advice, I always take into consideration what their thoughts and needs are as well as their habitshow often they would work out, what kind of things they would like to do, etc.," she explains. "Then I recommend they take one day at a time and start by focusing on one thingwhether it's eating right or exercising. Finally, I share with them keys like, if you want to take supplements, here's how to find quality products, and how eating small meals throughout the day helps keep your metabolism up. That way I can coach them to do what's realistic for them and positively reinforce their efforts and success along the way."
